The Local History group has been running for many years. It meets each Tuesday between 10am and midday, under the leadership of George Clarke.

The group has regular visiting speakers, talks from members, and organised trips to places of interest, as well as “Reading and Research” sessions, where members can pursue their own research in the group’s records
